Hike and sausages

2 boys on our back + few sausages in the bag= a happy Easter break!! We hiked up a little stream called "Chaelengraben". Yes I know, German sounds difficult! But we found a great place there and enjoyed being outdoor the whole day.

Carnival

Basel went crazy for 4 days. Masks, music, drums, costumes, parades... Fasnacht is a real tradition in this city. Arthur has still a long way to go to become a citizen of Basel. He got scared the very first second he saw his first mask! Few pics we could...

Fasnacht

The Basel Carnival, one of the most famous in Switzerland, starts tomorrow, Feb 22nd. Arthur made a mask at school. More pictures coming soon!!

We were told that Basel rarely sees the snow!! We moved in and there comes the snow! In huge amount!! Lucky us...
