Carnival

Basel went crazy for 4 days. Masks, music, drums, costumes, parades... Fasnacht is a real tradition in this city. Arthur has still a long way to go to become a citizen of Basel. He got scared the very first second he saw his first mask! Few pics we could...

Jura

2 weeks ago, Nicolas and I went hiking. Just the 2 of us in the mountains of Jura! Sweat, sun, great point of view: we filled our batteries up, before picking our boys up!

biking

We bike more and more! We load the trailer with kids, food and spare clothes and we pedal almost everywhere!! Sunday we went a long way outside Basel, along a river called the Wiese. Everybody was happy... and tired!!

intrepide

La liste de nos envies de visites est longue! Nous avons commence par la visite de l'Intrepide, un porte-avion americain qui a servi lors de la seconde Guerre Mondiale et celle du Vietnam. Mes hommes ont adore l'aspect technique et moi historique!

Arbaz

Greetings from the mountains! Life has an other taste up here and I love the feeling of infinity and hugeness they give me. Arbaz is a little village, above Sion, in Wallis.

back on the web

We are connected to the virtual world again!! I was starting to feel electricity on my finger tips! We moved in 2 weeks ago and we are getting settled bit by bit. Arthur started to go to school, twice a week and here are some pictures of his Halloween...

sleigh

Thanks to a cable, we went up the hills around Basel and we found a great spot to hike in the snow and even to sleigh! The first time for Arthur! We all have had a blast, even Tom who was well bundled close to us!

On rentre!!

Et oui, on va bientot arriver en Suisse, avec nos 2 p'tits gars, nos valises et un container plein de jouets. Une nouvelle vie commence pour nous, a Bale, ou Nicolas a decroche un travail. La vie est belle et on se rejouit de parler suisse-allemand!!
